• Obtained PhD from Carleton University, M.S. from University of New Brunswick, and M.Tech. from IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Kharagpur.
• Won over 15 academic and research awards including the highly prestigious awards:  Research Excellence Award (USA), Achievement Award (USA), NSERC Award (Canada), and OGS Award (Canada).
